Phelps, funerals, and fighting words.

Ok. By now, we've all heard about how the Phelps clan losing a lawsuit for protesting at a funeral.

Ok. So, now, they've got a verdict that they're gonna tie up in court, for years and years. Eventually, it will probably work its way up to the Supreme Court, where I'm not gonna bet on anything, but will have turned out to be a colossal waste of everyone's time.

What the Phelps clan needs is a lesson in "How not to be a Wanker." If you protest distastefully at someone's funeral, you are a wanker. Period.

Phelps needs a lesson in how not to be a wanker.

Tying them up in a court case for years, and years, is not a good way to do that.

They need a more immediate and painful lesson. If you act like a wanker at a funeral, you get that lesson.

It's time to bring back the fighting words defense.
